WHEN & HOW IDEA PROJECT WAS STARTED?
It was started when we visited Cambodia and found that the local children are not given opportunities to learn. We then decided to build a school together with the local community. We listened to their need, designed and built the school with them. We are there FOR THEM and WITH THEM. Our first IDEA Project was started in 2009, the first IDEA School was completed in 2010 FEB.
IDEA PROJECT 人人設計 是何時開始，如何開始的?
當時我們探訪了柬埔寨，發現當地的孩子得不到機會去學習。我們決定與當地社區一起建立一所學校。我們在那裡與他們一起，傾聽他們的需求，一起設計和建造學校。我們的第一個IDEA Project於2009年開始，第一間IDEA學校於2010年2月完成。
WHAT IS IDEA SCHOOL?
IDEA School is not just a school to deliver knowledge, it's a place belonging to each children. It contains the IDEA of the Cambodia kids.
By implementing the IDEA of the local community and participants, we aim to plant a seed into everyone's heart to understand that everyone can make a difference, we should all share and care our community.
什麼是IDEA學校？
IDEA學校不僅是一所提供知識的學校，這是屬於每個孩子的地方。它包含了柬埔寨孩子們的想法。
通過實施當地社區和義工參與者的想法，我們的目標是在每個人的心中種下一顆種子，明白到每個人都可以有所作為，我們都應分享和關心我們的社區。
We do NOT JUST BUILD the school, we FORM the school
OUR OBJECTIVES
For Locals in Developing Countries:
This project does not only aim to support the education of village children in developing countries, but also serves to empower local youth volunteers such that they may serve their own people in future by local partnership.
For HK people:
We take up the mission to share the expertise, resources and care from the developed world with the youth from corners of the world. It aims is to encourage young professionals to participate in overseas voluntary services and take part in sustainable development of the world. Through cross cultural sharing, it is hoped that there will be more interaction among global youth.
我們的目標
對於發展中國家的人：
這個項目不僅著眼於支持發展中國家農村孩子的教育，而且也有助提高當地青年義工參與的權力，將來使他們通過作為當地合作夥伴為當地人服務。
對於香港人：
我們肩負起使命，跟其他世界角落的青年分享專業技術，資源和從發達國家的關心。我們希望鼓勵年輕的專業人士參與海外義工服務和世界的可持續發展。通過跨文化的交流，希望與全球青年之間有更多的互動。
